All bespoke products from The Jeweller's Box Company follow a meticulous, founder-led process—from sampling to delivery—ensuring precision, quality, and alignment with your brand vision.

Sampling Process

All bespoke products require samples for your full approval before production begins. We craft samples for every product, charging for materials, block creation (B/C), and shipping to you for review. The sample invoice accompanies each shipment for immediate payment, with all details clearly outlined in writing for your signature prior to production.

Everything remains transparent: our Standard Jewellers Packaging and Information Pack list prices, B/C, and minimum order quantities (M/Q) for standard items, varying by colour. Custom items receive separate quotes. Unlike typical embossing, our full-surface stamping technique requires a dedicated block per item—covering the entire leather piece (except logos)—so even small pouches demand substantial blocks.

Ordering Process

Orders are accepted exclusively on fully approved samples. Upon sample approval, receive a comprehensive list detailing items, prices, and minimum quantities (M/Q). Proceed with your order immediately if satisfied; otherwise, we promptly prepare revised samples. Your signed confirmation triggers the deposit invoice (see Payment Terms). Orders commence only upon receipt of this deposit—and for first-time clients, the sample invoice as well.

Quality Control

Every piece undergoes meticulous inspection in London prior to dispatch. As handmade craftsmanship naturally varies, deliveries may fall slightly short of 100%. For critical events requiring exact minimums, increase orders by 10% (or 5% for items over 300 pieces)—with all quality goods accepted, potentially up to 110% of the original quantity.

Payment Terms

A 50% deposit secures production commencement. We issue the invoice promptly; upon cleared payment, your order enters production with a confirmed delivery date. The balance (50%) plus shipping invoices upon dispatch, adjusted precisely for any quality-related shortfalls or extras—due 30 days from invoice date.

Packing & Carriage

Items ship securely in size-grouped cellophane outers for protection. Specify individual cellophane wrapping for gifts on order; cardboard boxes are unavailable due to small-quantity costs. We'll confirm your preferred shipping method, then provide the final invoice and packing list via email prior to dispatch. Report any missing or damaged goods in writing within 14 days—we correct errors at no cost to you.

Charges & Policies

  • Sample Administration Charge (SAC): One-off fee (reduced for single samples) covering administrative efforts.
  • Block Charges (B/C): One-off per item for full-surface embossing.
  • Error Corrections: Free if our mistake; new samples charged for client-requested changes.
  • Non-Proceeding Orders: Full payment due for all good-faith samples, including reference sets and ancillary costs.
